O tratamento de pé diabético depende da forma em que está
afetado e o grau de comprometimento, por isso a importância da
análise de um especialista.
Na falta de circulação e na presença de uma ferida, é possível que
seja necessário o restabelecimento da circulação para poder ocorrer
a cicatrização da lesão. Este restabelecimento se dá por meio de
cirurgias convencionais e endovasculares. Caso haja uma ferida, mas
a circulação estiver preservada, eventualmente cuidados locais
baseados em curativos e antibióticos pode ser uma boa escolha.
Em situações extremas, onde a infecção pode causar a morte do
paciente, a amputação do pé pode ser necessária. A melhor forma de
